  • Brand Global Sales Milestone: In 2024, OMODA&JAECOO’s annual sales reached 248,605 units, with monthly sales exceeding 20,000 units for 8 consecutive months, accounting for 22% of the group’s sales, and has become the fastest-growing car brand globally.
  • Key Markets and Vehicle Sales Maintain High Growth: OMODA&JAECOO shine in multiple markets, with Malaysia experiencing explosive growth, recording annual sales of 15,661 units, a year-on-year increase of 174%. The star model OMODA C5 continues to grow in sales, achieving an annual volume of 129,341 units. Since its launch in February, new energy models OMODA E5, JAECOO J7 PHEV, and J6 have sold 34,068 units.

In 2024, a year with rapid growth, OMODA&JAECOO achieved remarkable sales performance globally. In December, the monthly sales rose to 23,560 units, with a year-on-year increase of over 72%, marking 8 consecutive monthly sales exceeding 20,000 units. Its annual sales reached 248,605 units, with a year-on-year growth of 54%. The brand has been launched in 33 countries and regions, with a global customer count of 410,136, making it the fastest-growing car brand globally.

OMODA&JAECOO’s sales growth was particularly strong in various regions globally. In Turkey, it achieved annual sales of 16,064 units, with a year-on-year increase of 23.3%. In Malaysia, it realized explosive growth, with annual sales reaching 15,661 units, a year-on-year increase of 174%. As the first country in the EU where the brand entered, Spain recorded sales of 9,988 units within just 10 months of launch.

 

Opening New Frontiers and Accelerating Global Strategic Layout

OMODA&JAECOO made its debut in Europe with the launch of the OMODA C5 in Spain this February 2024. This was followed by the official opening of their first European factory in Barcelona. In June, a launch event took place in Poland. To date, OMODA&JAECOO has been introduced in five European countries, including Italy, the UK, and Hungary. In ASEAN, it has established advanced modern production bases in Malaysia and Indonesia, and in September, the first batch of Indonesian-produced OMODA 5 were re-exported to Vietnam. In December, OMODA & JAECOO established its largest automotive parts warehouse and logistics center for Chinese car brands in the Middle East. Based on this, OMODA & JAECOO will accelerate its global service expansion and gradually establish a parts distribution network covering the five major regions worldwide.

Tech Breakthrough: The Best NEV Solution – SHS

Based on a deep insight into global users’ demands for high performance and long-range driving, OMODA&JAECOO have created SHS (Super Hybrid System), the world’s best NEV solution. The J7 PHEV, as the brand’s first high-performance vehicle equipped with SHS, combines power with economic performance. The J7 PHEV can accelerate from 0-50km in just 3.8 seconds and maintains strong power when accelerating from 140km/h, winning the title of “Performance King”.

Even in charge-depleting mode, its charge sustaining (CS) fuel consumption can keep as low as 6L/100km (based on WLTP conditions). During a seven-countries marathon long-range test in October, the J7 PHEV further set a new low for CS fuel consumption with a charge sustaining (CS) fuel consumption of 3.3L/100km. More importantly, with SHS, the J7 PHEV successfully eliminates users’ anxiety about range. With an endurance of pure electricity of 90km and a comprehensive endurance mileage of 1,200km (based on WLTP conditions), it can be used as an electric vehicle for daily commutes and as a Super HEV for long-distance mobility or when charging is inconvenient, completely eliminating range anxiety and providing users with the dual ultimate driving experience of Super HEV+EV.

In February, the brand’s first pure electric crossover SUV – OMODA E5, was unveiled in Madrid, Spain, and won the strong support of several Spanish political leaders. In March, the OMODA E5 was successfully launched in Malaysia, with Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah attending the launch event and delivering a speech, expressing high praise for the model. In April, OMODA&JAECOO showcased the E5 at the Beijing Auto Show, successfully attracting more than ten global leaders, including ambassadors to China from the Philippines and South Africa, to visit the booth, creating the largest contingent of foreign guests in the history of the Beijing Auto Show together with industry pioneers and partners from multiple countries.

Focusing on Public Welfare, the Brand Leads a Green Lifestyle

OMODA&JAECOO, with a strong sense of social responsibility, fully advocates for a green lifestyle and actively participates in global environmental protection efforts. In February, it launched a meaningful sea grass conservation project with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in Spain. In Indonesia, OMODA&JAECOO sponsored the local environmental protection charity organization Pandawara, and at the Indonesian launch event of the OMODA E5, the Indonesian Minister of Environment awarded an environmental protection prize to Pandawara.

In April, OMODA&JAECOO also launched the GREEN OJ public welfare co-creation platform at the Beijing Auto Show. In October, the brand successfully held a green public welfare cycling event with over a thousand participants in collaboration with IUCN. 7-Country Marathon Showcases Groundbreaking Hybrid Performance

One of the highlights at the OMODA&JAECOO International User Summit is the completion of the J7 PHEV Marathon across 7 countries, clocking an impressive 3.3L per 100km at a total range of 1353 km on petrol, and a 139% improvement of 125.2km on pure electric range.
The J7’s international marathon conquered terrains across seven countries- Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, and the UK, exposing the J7 PHEV’s Super Hybrid System to challenging road conditions, demonstrating its ultra-long range and road-handling capabilities.
