J7 SHS Successfully Completes “0 Refueling” Challenge Across Three Countries! Achieving a Record-Breaking Comprehensive Endurance of 1427.5km!
Recently, OMODA&JAECOO’s global hybrid model, the J7 SHS, completed a long-range test across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. This was the first cross-country long-range test for the J7 SHS. Following its previous “Marathon” Long-Range Test record in China in October last year, the J7 SHS once again set a new comprehensive endurance record, reaching 1427.5km with an endurance achievement rate of 118.96%. Additionally, both the endurance of pure electricity and charge-sustaining fuel consumption with depleted battery met the challenge targets, with a pure electric mileage of up to 108km and charge-sustaining fuel Consumption as low as 3.5L/100km.
The long-range test event lasted for three days. Starting from Singapore, the route passed through Kuala Lumpur, an important hub in Malaysia, and finally arrived in Krabi, Thailand. The event attracted the in-depth participation of over 20 senior media personnel from around the world, who witnessed and recorded the exceptional performance of the J7 SHS under different road conditions and environments throughout the journey.
New Record: Comprehensive Endurance Reaches 1427.5km
During this long-range test, the J7 SHS successfully reached Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand 0 refueling, covering a comprehensive mileage of 1427.5km. This not only far exceeded the expected endurance target of 1200km (based on WLTP conditions) but also broke the previous record of 1353km set during the marathon long-range test in October, demonstrating its leading “endurance myth” among peers. The J7 SHS is equipped with the best new energy solution globally, the Super Hybrid System (SHS), which incorporates three core technologies: the fifth-generation 1.5TGDI dedicated hybrid engine（DHE）, the dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT), and the high-performance dedicated hybrid battery pack. The synergy of these three technologies enables a driving experience that combines Super HEV and EV.
Among them, the efficient coordination between the fifth-generation 1.5TGDI DHE and the DHT achieves a comprehensive power of up to 225kW and a comprehensive torque of 375N・m, with a horsepower of 340P, it is comparable to a 3.0T engine, providing abundant and powerful dynamic output.
Facing the undulating terrain and complex road conditions during the long-range test, the vehicle can climb steadily with strong power, maintaining consistent and stable power output and effectively reducing the risk of grounding the chassis.
The power response is timely and rapid during acceleration, with 0-50km acceleration completed in just 3.8 seconds. Moreover, relying on its powerful power reserve, the vehicle can re-accelerate at speeds up to 120km/h, enabling faster overtaking and providing drivers with a consistent and powerful driving experience.
During this long-range test, the J7 SHS again demonstrated leading in its class. Its endurance of pure electricity is outstanding, achieving a pure electric mileage of up to 108km with an endurance achievement rate of 120%, thanks to the high-performance dedicated hybrid battery pack.
